The new camera will be like the iPhone 10 with the camera being like the picture, but the change will have a flash outside the camera. So the Pro model should have something like this.

The iPhone 16 lineup will bring major changes, with Apple expected to increase the size of the iPhone 16 Pro to 6.3 inches and the size of the iPhone 16 Pro Max to 6.9 inches, marking the first major size upgrade in several years, but the size increase will make the iPhone 16 Pro & Pro Max,  stay the same size as the iPhone 15 models. The good thing is Apple is designing new A-series chips for the iPhone 16 lineup, built on the latest 3-nanometer node. We could see some improvements in efficiency and performance. The Action Button that was limited to the iPhone 15 Pro models is expected to expand to all four iPhone 16 models in 2024, and the new iPhones are also rumored to have a new "Capture Button" that's used for taking photos and videos. No design changes are expected for the iPhone 16 lineup, and Apple is going to make changes.

Will Apple use the same chip as the iPhone 15 or change it to the A18 chip? Apple will unveil the iPhone 16 lineup with major changes and upgrades and while the devices are almost a year away. According to the latest, the entire iPhone 16 series will feature TSMC's 3nm A-series chips fabricated on the supplier's N3E process for better yield and performance. The iPhone 15 Pro was Apple's 1st generation of 3nm chips that allow for improved performance and battery life, but the standard models are equipped with an A16 Bionic chip, the same chip that powered last year's iPhone 14 Pro models. In 2024 all models of the iPhone 16 will feature the 2nd generation of 3nm chips developed by TSMC. The upcoming A18 chips for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models will be made on TSMC's N3E technology, which will bring more benefits over the N3B process. It was previously reported that the company would be switching from the N3B to the N3E process due to better yield and performance. Apple is TSMC's largest customer and Apple counts for around 90% of TSMC's production.  Will the company use A18 Bionic chips for the standard iPhone 16 models, while the 'Pro' models will get A18 Pro chips, or will the Pro chips in all the models? This means that the standard models will skip TSMC's N3B process & and jump straight to the N3E. It will allow the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus to feature major performance gains over the A16 Bionic chip in the iPhone 15 models. The A18 Pro chip will also feature significant upgrades over the A17 Pro chip on the iPhone 15 Pro models. The iPhone 16 Pro models may also include a metal battery casing that will improve heat dissipation also the RAM may get an upgrade to 8GB's. The iPhone 16 Pro models could be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon X75 modem, allowing for faster and more efficient 5G connectivity. Qualcomm's X75 supports the "5G Advanced" standard with AI and machine learning enhancements for 5G improvements, so Apple could market the iPhone 16 Pro models as having "5G Advanced" connectivity. The standard iPhone 16 models are expected to use Qualcomm's X70 chip, which is the chip that was already used in the iPhone 15 models. Apple is working to develop its own modem chip and antenna setup to eliminate its dependence on Qualcomm, but Apple's modem chips are not expected to be ready to debut in 2025. And we know USB-C is coming to the new iPhone. Could WIFI 7 be coming to the iPhone 16 models or wait for 2025 for the iPhone 17 models? Apple the iPhone 16 Pro models could adopt the next-generation WiFi 7 technology, which is expected to provide speeds of "at least 30" gigabits per second and could hit up to 40Gb/s.Wi-Fi 7 is also able to use 320MHz channels and supports 4K quadrature amplitude modulation ultimately providing up to 2.4x faster speeds than Wi-Fi 6 with the same number of antennas. Wi-Fi 7 will ultimately provide faster maximum transfer speeds, lower latency, and more reliable connectivity. While

Wi-Fi 7 could be limited to the iPhone 16 Pro models, the standard iPhone 16 models could get an upgrade to Wi-Fi 6E, which supports the 6GHz Wi-Fi band. Right now, Wi-Fi 6S is limited to the iPhone 15 Pro models. What about Camera upgrades? The iPhone 16 Pro models could include an improved 48-megapixel Ultra Wide lens, which would allow improved images in lower lighting conditions. It would likely function like the 48-megapixel Wide camera, which uses pixel binning to combine the data from four pixels into one "super pixel" for better image qualityThe 48-megapixel wide-angle camera used in the iPhone 16 Pro Max will reportedly feature an 8-part hybrid lens with two glass elements and 6 plastic elements, along with improvements for the telephoto and ultra-wide camera lenses. Both the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max could get 5x Telephoto lenses in 2024, instead of the technology being limited to the larger Pro Max. Will the iPhone 16 Pro Max feature a super telephoto periscope camera for a dramatically increased optical zoom?

2025 iPhone 17 And 5 Rumors?

  1. In the ‌iPhone‌ 17 and ‌iPhone‌ 17 Plus in 2025, Apple is expected to also bring the larger 6.27- and 6.86-inch display sizes to its two standard ‌iPhone‌ models. As a result, expect the entire iPhone 17 lineup to use a taller aspect ratio of 19.6:9, suggesting the devices will be slightly taller, rather than wider.

  2. The Standard models will get Always on Display and 120Hz.

  3. The Pro Phones will get Under-Display Face ID? The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to be the first ‌iPhone‌ to feature under-panel Face ID technology. This will probably be Apple's last premium model to include a circular cutout for the front-facing camera. The only external indication of the under-display ‌Face ID‌ technology will likely be a circular cutout for the front-facing camera. Apple is then expected to adopt under-display cameras in 2027 for the iPhone Pro models for a true "all-screen" appearance.

  4. Apple-Designed Wi-Fi 7 Chip? Will it be on the iPhone 16 or saved for the 17 models?

  5. 48MP Telephoto Lens? The current iPhone 15 Pro models feature 48-megapixel main, 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and 12-megapixel telephoto lenses. That would make 2025's "Pro Max" the first iPhone to have a rear camera system composed entirely of 48-megapixel lenses, making it capable of capturing even more photographic detail.
